Devlog #3 - Testing and Debugging

Hello !

Today we decided to focus on testing our game to find bugs and glitches to fix.

We did find a lot and succeeded to fix them and then our programmer deleted the game folder (big panic) hopefully he succeeded to recover it but it created a lot of bugs and we had to quickly fix them so have time to try the game again.

We wanted to save some time to test our game in order to be sure that it would be playable and that errors or bugs wouldn't appear.
We also used that precious time to find what we could improve, such as some designs, textures or traps in the different levels.

Our game is a little bit tricky, it's hard to begin a game without knowing where the traps are, what are the hitboxes, the character speed movement and all... that's why you might die a lot and we thought that it would be funny to add a death counter to it so we could compare our score to one another. Our best score was 34 deaths ! It might seems a lot but I think you would understand when our game comes out.

We had a lot of fun participating this Game Jam as we hoped. We spent a lot of time together to develop our first game ever and we are pretty proud of it ! We hope you will enjoy our game during these rough times in quarantine.

We will keep you informed when the game comes out.

We are not sure about improving this game in the future, maybe we will fix some bugs when they will be reported but we think that we might let it the way it is. It is our first achievement, it's the first time we worked really hard to develop a good game all together and we are really proud of us and our game.
We might develop a new game in the future, for ourselves, without a time restriction so we would provide way much more effort into it.
